Rookie of the Year at MMA2024 (Melon Music Awards)

ILLIT and TWS jointly won Rookie of the Year at the 16th Melon Music Awards (MMA2024), held at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon. ILLIT did not attend the ceremony in person — the group was in Gwangju that evening for KIA Tigers' championship celebration "V12 Tigers Festa" instead.

KIA Tigers celebrated their 12th Korean Series title with a free fan event in Gwangju that drew about 10,000 people. ILLIT performed a congratulatory stage alongside Dynamic Duo, joining KIA's cheerleaders for the team's signature "Ppikki Ppikki" cheer dance — the same evening the group won Rookie of the Year at MMA2024 without attending that ceremony in person.
